Our Vision
Enable the education system to develop better and smarter citizens capable of tackling the challenges of tomorrow and thriving in an increasingly complex world.
Our Mission
To develop and empower Total Persons that desire to live complete, wholesome, creative and successful lives.
Background
The original definition was derived from Ron Miller, founder of the journal Holistic Education Review who declared that Holistic Education is a philosophy of education based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning, and purpose in life through connections to the community, to the natural world, and to humanitarian values such as compassion and peace. Holistic education aims to call forth from people an intrinsic reverence for life and a passionate love of learning. We only agree partially with this definition because the emphasis should not be on the “connections”, but on the means and methods of improving one’s Total Person (Body-Mind-Soul). One cannot become a complete and balanced person without focusing on her/his own skills, abilities, capabilities, capacities and competencies.
One must first develop a certain level of Personal Mastery that is useful for life. It is the Personal Mastery that one will use to find and enter the right university, pursue a meaningful career, make the right connections in the business world as well as the rest of the connections (inferred by Mr. Miller), and everything else that the person will do and achieve in life. Without the Personal Mastery the person cannot go anywhere, cannot succeed in anything, and cannot “see” or appreciate the world the right way.
